any one make a custom hood or have the slightest idea where to get one?

im talking anything other than stock, cowl/scoop/ram air.......anything!

I stole it from this thread on ROP. It was a Custom Hood. $600 isn't bad for a Custom Hood. I'd bet they'd probably do a bastardized W25 hood.

Although I'm with you.......It's just not right on a 68

ThNk you for that link. Great info on therefor fiberglass bumpers also which I couldn't find.

From the thread on ROP, it sounds like that was just a stock-shape 'glass hood to which they bonded a cowl induction scoop. Anyone can do this in their garage for a lot less money (and that price is quite a few years old). The important piece of info here is that there does not seem to be a mold for that complete hood.

it seems that glasstek & VFN offer the stock style hood and can mold a scoop or cowl to it for a reasonable rate.

this is what i was looking for as i dont think i want to attempt doing this myself. with such limited options for the 68, this is fantastic.

i would like to see what the fiberglass bumpers look like & how they fit.

+1 for VFN, I got my '75 Cutlass, the RAM Air Hood with the Air Box is great, looks great, and works great
