Double check that trim code. It should not be 98C. I'm guessing it's 986, which is turquoise cloth and vinyl and would go with the C-C Provincial White paint.

981 is silver; 983 is blue; 984 is fawn; 986 is turquoise. All these are cloth and vinyl.

985V is red all vinyl.

01B is the build week, in this case 2nd week (B) of January (01) 1965.

5639 is a Dynamic 88 (56) Holiday sedan (four-door hardtop) (39)

LAN2829 is the 2829th 1965 Olds B four-door hardtop body produced at Lansing Fisher Body plant.

Can't help you with the 4th and 5th lines, though a lot of folks here are familiar with the 65-67 codes.

Yah, I almost messed with you on the "cow tag" too. Started to tell you it was a white car with black and white cowhide seats. Then I saw you were a newbie, so I didn't.

The big cars were more "color matched" interior-wise than the A-body cars.

The 1965 Chassis Manual gives the Dupont and Rinshed-Mason interior paint numbers. In your case, pretty sure the dash between windshield and pad is Dark Turquoise Flat. Dupont formula is 9197-L, R-M is 65B36.

Interior gloss painted parts would be Dupont 4628-L Medium Turquoise, 9176-L Dark Turquoise. R-M are 65B31 Medium, 65B32 Dark.

Go to www.autocolorlibrary.com and search 1965 Oldsmobile. That site will show a paint chip page, possibly from another paint manufacturer, that shows the available exterior colors and usually has the interior formula numbers too.
