78' Delta 88 Royale - Seat Covers

I have been semi-daily driving my 1978 Delta 88 to work, as my wife is working part-time for the moment, and the Focus isn't always available. I work in a somewhat dusty environment, not nasty but dusty. I know with the age and new condition of my interior on my Delta ( Light blue in color ), I know the Crushed Velour fabric literally absorbs and degrades when dust/dirt comes into contact with it. I am using two Blue Beach Towels on the driver's side of the bench, and it looks like I am hiding a trashed seat lol. I was wondering what you guys recommend for bench seat covers that don't cost $120+ dollars. I was thinking about a light blue Saddle Blanket cover for older trucks with benches ( with pockets ) matching in color. What do you guys think?

Oops... NVM.

The 2 brands I suggested were quite pricey.

Just check your local auto parts store. You can probably find some that are a decent price.

I had a beater 77 Grand Prix with a trashed split bench seat. I looked all over EVERYWHERE for a split bench seat cover without success. I didn't even care what color it was or what it looked like. All I could find were covers to fit bucket seats. So I gave up. I hope you have better luck.

But would you buy Hello Kitty seat covers if those were the only ones you could find?

Actually, it wasn't easy finding this pic either. Seems like all the Hello Kitty seat covers are for buckets.

FWIW, I don't know what your budget is but here are the links I posted originally. You can get high quality covers for a split bench but it will cost a bit:

I'd turn it inside out. I've done that before. In a beater, anything goes.
