Question 75 Delta 88 Question

Hi guys and gals,

I am working on a 1975 Delta 88 Covertible for a friend of mine. The car is in great shape but the rear bumper fillers have had ALOT of paint applied to them over the years. I began stripping the paint off them and found that the rubber was soft and mushy.......they felt like they were made from bubble gum. They need replaced, however, I can't seem to find anyplace that has them. Anyone out there know of a place to get rear bumper fillers for a 75 Delta 88?

Thanks very much for any help.

Bumper fillers

There is a solution to your problem. I had the same problem with my fillers. I search the web and I came across a company called Replica Plastics. The site is www.replica-plastics.com the toll free number is (800)873-5871. It would be best to call them and tell them exactly what you are looking for. They helped me a lot. They cost a pretty penny (between 350-400) for the whole set I beleive, but its made from plastic or fiberglass. Though it will last longer, be carefull how you handle it because it will crack if you bend it too much.
