69' 88 delta rear axel an other questions

got a few questions,

I am working to get my rear axel new oil.
but the paper seal is ripped.
normal i go and fix it with silicone sealing.
but i thought i read about it, and there was something about it.

i saw those 2 hole's on the left and right side of the ring, where the bearings are.
and saw in the paper sealing that they are open on this.
what is the function and can i use silicone sealing because i have to order everything in the states and than it becomes a expensive peace of paper.

I use 95' octane gas, but i can use 98 with led aductive.
i know in 69 they use leaded gas, with is prefered to 95 or 98 or the 98 with lead aductive.

3

i ordered a new voltage regulator,

batery is not realy full i know.
but it goes byond 14 volts, i ordered the partnr. d663 at fusik.
is this the right part for my olds?

i ordered a gasket already and ordered to a whipermoter.
i now know why i missed my washerpump

but stil want to know if i can use 98 with lead adict in stead of 95 or 98 unleaded.
i read that 1969 deltas uses leaded feul, and i use unleaded now.

its same as the oil, i need to now what's good for my engine.

and didn't get the answer on my question about the voltage regulator on the fire wall.
I hope this is the good one? and do i have to adjust a new voltageregulator?
