61 Dynamic 88 wiper switch

A friend of mine has a 1961 Dynamic 88 and wants to take the wiper switch out of the dash (sits in a pod on the left side of the dash with no access from behind) does anyone know how to remove it?? thanks

You will have to remove the A-pillar garnish molding in order to access the hidden screw for the left side dash panel. There are two more screws at the bottom. One is toward the front and screws into the main dash panel. One is by the door opening and may be hidden by the cardboard kick panel. In that case, you'll have to remove the left hand vent screen and then remove the kick panel. After all three screws are removed from the side panel, the panel can be pulled away from the dash and the switch removed.

Is it the same for a 62 dynamic?
Thanks
