Seems this would this be ok for a '78 350 Delta 88 Royale?
I'm looking for an upgrade in reliability, less maintenience, performance boost, possibly mileage improvement ... ?

Some eBay car items are OK because you can't find them at the junkyard or are hard to very hard to get, but this I think would be best to just drive on over to your local Advance Auto / Auto Zone or whatever you have near you and buy factory fresh.
Yes it's more $$$, but I'd rather pay the extra cash instead of a possible eBay burn later
