Welcome! Not sure why you are replacing your tank, but no reproduction tanks are made for these cars. Often tanks can be boiled out (cleaned) and small leaks repaired. I haven’t had to do this in years but I had a local radiator shop clean mine for me. Hope this helps, Dave
I have the same problem with my 72 D88, A Buick Century form same year kinda fits, the indents for the mounting is about a 3/4 in. off.
It was a GM61A, I sent it back, would have had to modify mounts, I am fixing old tank
Can also suggest you check classic car junkyards for donors in places like DVAP Arizona. I’ve had good luck at Turner’s Auto Salvage in CA, Hess Brothers in CA, and French Lake Auto Parts near Minneapolis MN.
From Turners, I carried a wildly chemical smelly empty 1966 Olds 98 gas tank for 4 hours or so with windows down, even though it was slightly dented. It’s still in my attic, not sure if I’ll ever use it, but it’s insurance for $200 bucks or so. Will never forget buzzing up I99 at 70 mph with windows down on a 90F day just to keep the venting gas tank from overwhelming my lungs.
