Need part numbers

Good morning
I think I have a source for the rear axle bearings, seals and retainers, but the supplier needs the part numbers
Does anyone one have part numbers for ‘69 Delta 88 Custom (with the 454 cdi engine)
- Rear axle bearing
- seals
-retainers

Thanks!!

If you call this Board member, he will have the parts to sell you and know correct the part numbers.

I assume this is the 9.3" Type O axle (12 bolt cover, 12 bolt ring gear).
Seal is P/N 406089. This crosses to Timken 8940S.
Bearing package is 907964 and includes the retainer as well as the bearing. This crosses to 88131R.

88131R is a tough find if it is....
that part number is NOW a front wheel drive bearing...lol. REALLY they reused it ...unbelievable.
Another thing with FULL SIZE car axle bearings...GET THE actual OD and ID of the bearing as GM seem to have goofy info in MANY books and I have personally run into stff the books say it is suppose to be BUT of coarse are not...
Just to save you headaches.
I do not have ANY 88131R in stock....as I said this is a obsolete bearing...hard to get.

Jim, (your post on 6/22 on rear axle bearing numbers for '69 Olds)

Is 88131R just the bearing P/N, or a kit?
The parts manual lists a bearing P/N of 907964
Your help deciphering is sure appreciated.

88131R is the Timken interchange number. This is from the 2011 printing of the Timken interchange book. Most other bearing vendors use this number as well (National, for example).
