69 Delta 88 Posi-Pumpkin only 2:56 ratio

This came out of a 69 Delta 88 with about 70K miles on it.
What I found out and it would not fit my A body

16B41 GM LC 267 is stamped on the ring gear teeth
16 and 41 see it with the B in between.
That is your gear ratio 2.56 41 divided by 16 = 2.56 ratio
Anyone know what it's worth?

You might consider sending a PM to one of our members, monzaz. He is a guru when it comes to differentials. He could probably give you a good asking price. I do know that those rear ends are quite rare.

Here's a thread he responded to recently:

The 2-series carrier used in the Type O axles in the full size cars (with the 9.3" ring gear) only work with 2.56 ratio gears. Hard to find part but not a lot of demand for it. One COULD use a ring gear shim to fit steeper gears, but it would need to be custom machined since no one makes them for the 9.3 Type O. I might be interested depending on the price.

I am trying to find out what it is worth, I don't want to have a stupid price High or low, If you want to shoot me a price. Also it is very heavy so shipping consideration plays a part in this.
