O-type axle dimensions. Different in ‘70?

Does anybody know if there are dimensional differences in the axle shafts between the ‘68-‘69 and ‘70 O-type axles?

The ‘70 uses the “wet” bearing with outboard seal vs the sealed bearing on the earlier. I have ordered ‘68 31 spline axles from Moser before, and now I have a 1970 rear that I need to order Moser axles for... it seems like the axle dimensions are the same as the ‘68-‘69, just with a different bearing (SET9).

I’m wondering if I am missing something? I included a picture of the stock axle I pulled to take measurements. I can’t take off the bearings yet because I need to keep the car mobile. Thanks!

Bearing offset is totally different than a sealed bearing. Seal has to have a machined surface to ride on also. YOU can not interchange them.

Jim, thanks for the response. Think I got it figured out.
