TKO driveshaft length a body
Check my math - did I miss anything?
Trying to calculate my driveshaft length for my TKO swap.
Currently have a Th350. Length is 27 11/16" = 70.3 cm
Driveshaft with 350 is 55½" = 140.9 cm
My TKO with bell is 77.5 cm end-to-end.
So is my DS really just supposed to be 140,9 - (77.5-70.3) = 133.7 cm?
Thanks.
Bonus question: Stock u-joint for a '71 rear is a GM 3RL u-joint, yes?

Do the actual measurement. There are several sites that show what measurements are required.
Also double check the U joint size.
My reference is a Muncie/T10 and Richmond, but:
In addition, you need to check your yoke length. Make sure it seats in the trans the full length of the output shaft bushing and doesn't bottom out against anything, ie speedo drive gear.
