Running noise from both rear wheels

Has anyone had a rubbing noise coming from both rear wheels and is not the drum or anything to do with the brakes? Replaced shoes and drums and still makes the noise when decelerating. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check Ujoints, pinion, and axle bearings.

Any rub marks on the driveshaft? Noise on decel can be the front pinion bearing but it is usually described as whining vs. rubbing. What speeds does this occur?

Rubbing noise in the rear wheels

Thank you for the information. The sound is louder at higher speeds and decelerating. The U joint was good and pinion. Did hear some sound with a stethoscope coming from the tubes going to each wheel. Sorry for the improper wording . Still learning a lot. I ordered a bearing and seal kit for the rear end. Thank you again.

Maybe if you provided less information...

Look, seriously, we have no idea what car you have, what axle you have, what tires and wheels you are running, or anything else. Any suggestions you get are just going to be pulled from someone's @$$. And frankly, this is not a problem that is easily diagnosed over the interwebs. Listen to the sound and if possible see if a helper can pinpoint the location as you drive by them. There are only about a bazillion possible causes.
