Ring Gear Identification

Hi,
Is there any way to identify gear ratio from the attached picture? Forgive me if this is a dumb question, I know very little about differentials. I changed my cover, gasket and gear oil this weekend and snagged a picture of the only stamping I could find.

If what appears to be ‘16’ & ‘41’ in the first part of the stamping that would equate to a 2.56. Am I looking at this correctly?

Yes - you are looking at this correctly. 41 tooth ring gear. 16 tooth pinion gear. = 2.56

Yes sir. I replaced the cover with an aftermarket cast W27 cover and new fluid. It’s a one-wheel peel and not going to shock anyone but it runs great for highway and around town.

This was after the cover and fluid change.

you have to build the car the way YOU want. So if this is all fine for you...No one else matters. smiles are good. Drive it and enjoy it.
We did a street monza and left the 2.56 ratio with a v8 350th trans and my daughter and I just love driving it everywhere., NOT a gauge in the car to worry about either... LOL.
