Hello all, I want to install a posi unit into my 72 cutlass supreme and I was wondering what is in the back.Do olds commonly use 10 bolt 8.5 in the rear? If so,Then what cars are compatible?

 

If it is the original rearend it should have a 8.5 corporate rearend. If you need a complete posi changeover i have one in 3:42 gear ratio. Everything you need to change it over bearings, posi unit and setup tool and new richmong gears. lumanutt@msn.com
