Please help identify this axel

480632 casting number. 3:23 gears. Will it fit an a body. Is it similar or the same as a corporate 10 bolt.

Everything that I could find says that is a big car axle. So it would be too wide and have the incorrect mounting locations for an A body.

Not a body

If it is a A body it will be from the 1973-1977 era.... WILL NOT FIT the 65-72 era at all. Period. Jim

It is a 8.75 rear-
it will have 12 bolt ring gear
28 or 31 spline axles
NO PART ARE AVAILABLE for this in the aftermarket
I have a posi for that rear if you need
28 spline axle unit
Mostly found in the 78-85 GM wagons and caddy devilles.
