Driveline length 70 Cutlass 350/TH350--swap to Muncie and Chevy 12 bolt

Swapping a Muncie 4 speed in my 70 cutlass. Also swapping in a true Chevy 12 bolt posi differential.

Purchased conversion u-joint so the yoke on the Chevy 12 bolt will stay the same.

I am told my driveline transmission yoke is the same for a TH350 and a Muncie.

My QUESTION:
Is the driveline length going to fit?
I am also told the TH350 and the Muncie are the same length. What about the Chevy 12 bolt with Chevy 12 bolt yoke swapped in place of the "O" type Oldsmobile differential? Driveline length same?

Thank you.

driveshaft length munice to 350th to 1 bolt O to 12 bolt chevy

Yes it should all swap over with just a u-joint swap to 372 moog conversion joint also known as chevy to BOP u-joint.

THAT is if your muncie is the same length as a 350th trans.

Thanks JD.

The Chevy 12 bolt is a 68. Is it going to use "U-Bolts" with nuts and lock washers or straps with screw in bolts?

Thank you.

FYI to others--I am finding the fasteners needed from Supercars, Part Place, In Line Tube. Thanks.

If it is a true 68 all original it will take u-bolts and nuts...1970-1972 usually the 10 and 12 bolt chevys changed to a beefier yoke and it had 4 fine thread bolts and 2 straps. The bolts were the same thread 24 count as the 10 bolt 8.5 but the straps are for the 1.063 caps not the 1.125 mechanics 3R caps....
you will physically have to check your 12 bolt to which one it has...it could have a BOP yoke also if it came from a Canadian B O P a-body....

send pics will ID for you.
