69 Hurst Olds 3.91?

Good afternoon everyone! I just picked up a rear end out of a 69 Hurst olds with the "SL" stamping on it which should be 3.91 posi correct? Second question i think the 3.91's were optional, does anyone have any information on how many 69 hurst cars came with 3.91"s. Just some food for thought.

3.91 was an option for non A/C cars, 3.42 being standard for non A/C cars, 3.23 for A/C cars. Unfortunately I have never heard or seen of any breakdown of how many cars received which options.

Bob Anderson has had a lot more than one.Did you ever see his starage facitly with cars stacked on top of other cars, crushing the one on the bottom? It's sick.
I had an SL 3:91,which is now in the hands of Dan Macal.

I havent yet messed around with different gear ratios (as this is my first build) i am pretty excited to get that diff under the rear of my car. Should be a substantial difference from the ol ope 2.78's!!
