this is general question for forum.i dont want to waist my mony.i have a 72 2dr cutless supreme convertable.i need a new deck lid .i was told i need to replace with 71 or 72 convertable lid only.i have seen a deck lid off a 2dr hard top 71 or 72 .i also have seen deck lid for sale off 4dr hard top.confused what will work.dont want throw away any more mony.thanks john

 

The 70-72 convertible and 4dr deck lids are the same and will interchange. The other body styles are different.

By the way, go out and look at the emblems on your car. There is no "E" in Cutlass.

 

Joe, I was starting to think that the emblems on my car were wrong.

Looks like they are wrong on my camero, too.

 

joe thanks for the information.i just cant get it out of my mind the 2dr hardtop cutlass deck lid looks exactly like mine. same trim etc
this lid was advertised on e bay.maybe there wrong and its off a convertable or 4dr
