Just watched Barrett Jackson: thought this was interesting. Anyone heard of this.

1988 Cutless Convertible Pace car Only 50 made according to the seller
Has 800 miles on it. Proof of one ownership part on the sellers catalog
Includes a headsup display manufactured by a airplane supplier and is part of the original options. No count of how many of the 50 came with this option. Sold at auction for $20,000.00. Seemed low. The general comment from Barrett Jackson was that everything is going low. They say its a good time to buy. Everything is down 30% or more. I know depends on what you classify as low

Yes I owned one of the parade cars for almost 10 years. Oldsmobile made or should I say Cars n concepts made 56 for public sale in 88 and all of them were optioned the same.

 

Nope. Never heard of a Cutless, convertible or otherwise, nor a Camero either, for that matter.

 

That sounds like a Norm comment!

 

That is correct....most all were repurchased by Oldsmobile due to serious quality concerns.
