69 Cutlass Dash Pad Info

Hello every one, Could anyone tell me what the difference is between a NON A/C Dash pad and a A/C Dash Pad ? My car is a 69 with out A/C and came accross a really nice A/C dash pad does any one know if it will work on my car ?

They will both bolt up just fine, the AC dash pad has vents in it that the Non-AC doesn't have.

1968 and 1969 dash pads are the same. In 1968 there were two styles, the non-A/C pads and the A/C pads. The latter had three rectangular holes for the A/C vents, one in the center above the radio and one on either end.

For 1969, vent windows on the 2 dr cars were eliminated and fresh-air ventilation was added on the non-A/C cars. The A/C pad was used for non-A/C applications as well. The vent above the radio was blanked off with a dummy vent plate. Then end vents were functional for fresh air ventilation and were controlled with a second set of chrome ***** in the kick panels.
