Smile 1971 Cutlass in Belgium, Europe

Hi,

Just wanted to show my Cutlass to eveybody. The car is just repainted and striped.
Hell it's fun to drive in Europe with the nice US muscle cars.

Let me know what you think about it.

Holy crap. That's what a 71 Cutlass is supposed to look like right there. I recommend some Centerline Champ 500 wheels though. (My personal fav)

I wish this paint scheme came on 74 Nova hatchbacks too. That would look amazin' as well.

That is a amazing paint job and a flawless car. I love those rims, what kind/size are they? They look great.

Thx guys. Yeah it took me a while to find out what collors I would choose.

The biggest problem was finding all the part from the cutlass (here in Europe).

Well yeah a lot of peaple are looking to it when I'm cruising it.

But I had to put it inside for the coming winter. To much salt on the roads.
However this lets me the change to polish it again and clean it up.

Nice ride! It feels good being the only olds in the country doesn't it? I have my 69 with me in Italy. It's funny looking at the Italian’s faces when I ride by. My 69 will be fly like your 71 by the time I leave here. I am having the interior redone with Italian leather in December and the new paint job done in late August before I head back to S.D.

Nice '71 Cutlass!

Very nice car! The paint looks great! It is really cool to see American muscle on European soil. I am sure you get a LOT of looks!

On a side note, a notice you are running Hercules tires. I'm originally from Findlay, Ohio, and my friend's dad was Chief Executive Officer of that company when we were in high school!

You don't want to know (right now it's about 1.5€ for 1liter - 8.20$ for 1 gallon). It's very expensive. The problem with the classic cars is that you cannot change them anymore to propane.
Lucky for me my new Mustang 05 I was able to put on propane.

Greetings

Do you mean regulations prohibit it or it is not feasable? I know that it is possible.

difficult not to stand out with that one! how hard is it to find things like belts, hoses, brake pads, tune up stuff for that car in your country?

Well you can do it. But it's not so good for the engine. Since burning propane gives the engine a more dry burn it could be possible that you have to put other valves into the engine.
I would only recommend propane on new engines not on the old muscle cars.

You don't wanna know. They are very hard to find here. But I'm very happy with FedEx
The internet is helping me very good with that.

Well you'll have to wait until it's back summer. Now it's raining way to much. I'll be posting certainly some vids on the net when I'm starting the little fellow again.

Ok, that would make sense that a different fuel would have different characteristics. I know of propane but don't have much experience with it as a fuel. Here in the U.S. it is used as a heating fuel and as a fuel for some vehicles like forklifts or industrial engines perhaps so that is why I am not too familiar with it.

I haven't brought my '72 Supreme convertible over with me to London yet, but I am considering it. My little Vauxhall Astra just doesn't turn any heads.

Nice man!! I like. $8 a gallon for gas we're only at about $4, I'd think you could justify engine modifications to use propane. I know if it were me, I'd be cooking hotdogs with my exhaust.
