Tips on window trim

I’m looking to clean up the opera 1/4 trim but I’m not sure how to do it correctly without jacking up Fusick’s plastic. Any tips? It’s a 77 if it matters. Thanks

I think I figured it out. The bigger question is do they just press in or adhesive them in? Seems like they will stay just pressed. Thanks for any advise.
