Help 64 Cutlass Mirror Installation

My body man filled the holes for the remote control mirror. Now I'm trying to install the mirror and somewhat guessing where to drill.
Anyone doing restoration work out there on a 64 cutlass that could possible send me measurements or come up with a template for me?
Just checking. I hate to drill into the paint and body and be off too far. I have put this off for some time because I really don't want to make a mistake.
Thanks in advance.

Remove your door panel and look inside to see what he did to fill the holes first then let us know what you find and pics always help!

Looks like he filled them with some kind of bondo. I have taken some pictures a while back. Just hard to get in there and measure. I have narrowed the area down some with a small magnet, I think. Just thought if I had some good measurements from someone it would help.
Thanks

Here's some photos. Let me know if any measurements are not clear.

don't think it matters for the hole positions, but John has one of two style mirrors that came on the 64 cutlass.

The pictures show the same mirror as my original one.
Thanks

Could you get inside the door with a pin vise (https://www.google.com/search?client...UTF-8&oe=UTF-8) and hand drill from the inside? If you could get just one you could locate the other one off of it.
