Just joined and just worked out a deal to trade my 87 Monte SS for a 71 Cutlass, The interior needs work but it has a good base to start with.
cutlass.jpg. I belong to the Montess forum for the 3 years I owed the SS, and meet alot of great people and got alot of great info, hopefully the same will be true with the cutlass project and this forum. Looking forward to meeting new people and getting helpful info for the new project on this forum.

Thanks for the welcome, Yes it is new paint, he had it repainted in his rebuild process, and lost interet in it, he said he use to have a g-body and loved it and just wanted another one, I had gotten to the point on my Monte that I was ready for something different so it worked out for both of us. The interior needs work, someone did a poor dye job on it, and the seats are ripped, He already purchased replacement seat upholstery and headliner, but I need to get trim panels and carpet yet, then I can start to work on the interior.

Welcome to the site. Nice car. A trade back is a trade up. Tell us more about the car and your plans. Is it a 350 engine 350 trans setup, any mods done to the engine, tec.

Other than the paint and tires and wheels, the vehicle is stock, I plan to redo the interior and detail the engine compartment then just enjoy it. Just want a nice cruising car, now, the Monte had a built motor and all, which was enjoyable, but want to just cruise the beaches now and relax.
