I've been watching this car for a while. It looks as though it could be a W-31. Of course there is no documentation so you can't prove anything. I'm curious what your opinions are of the car as far as the condition of the car, the likelihood that it is a W-31 and value. I look at it this way, owning a real W-31 with no proof is still owning a real W-31. Maybe even better because you have some negotiating leverage. So, what are your thoughts.

No pics of balancer or carb and trans makes me think this isn't a legit car. Price isn't outrageous. I have a buddy selling a real no b.s. W31 for 50k

 

This may be an old ad. CMC is no longer in Apex. It moved to Benson, N. C. In 2020 and the car is listed as sold.
