Well lookie what we purchased....

Bought this beauty yesterday! 2 owner, original Laurel Mist Green paint, original interior and 330 engine 1965 Cutlass 4door. 107,000 original miles. Same color as our 2door! Bringing her home tomorrow! Can't wait to hit cruise night when it cools down in another month with both!!

Wow what a deal! You don't see sibling cars like those....hardly ever! Are you going to finish out the 4door with the same wheel/tire combo and exhaust? Nice.

edit: moved to Cutlass forum.

I am not sure what we are going to do with it yet... the two door is my wife's baby... I just couldn't pass it up. It is so clean, original, and unmolested. Funny thing is, my 14 year old is just now learning how to drive, and she loves the car and wants it for her first! Thought that was interesting coming from that generation. Personally, I am hoping to find a '65 Vista Cruiser next... that is what I want for me. Preferrably in Laurel Mist Green!

the coupe originally came from the factory with matching paint steel wheels with the little dog dish hubcaps. I recently found the hubcaps, and I am going to swap the wheels/tires for now from the four door to the two after I get them painted Laurel Green. I want to see how the coupe will look back to stock. Will post some pictures when this is done, as well as both side by side soon.

Nice pair. The Vista would be pappa bear, the four door mamma bear and the 2 door baby bear

Pappa Bear Tease...

Incredible!! A great looking car. Who cares if it's a 4 door? The outside looks mint. Hows the inside? What options? Does it have all its docs? You really struck the jackpot on this one getting the same color as the 2 door.

Here's a 65 Vista for ya! Just have to paint it the right color and Presto! You've got (as Oldsguy says) your papabear.

Beautiful Vista Cruiser there.. Yeah, I know it is cool that I have two in the same colors.. and not black or red.. but not so popular green. The interior is all original. Door panels are in great condition along with the dash. Seats are very nice, just a couple of minor tears in the material. Have not fully assessed what I really have yet, need to get it home today.

Perhaps you could have the tears in the seats repaired? A good interior shop could probably sew the tears with heavy duty thread. Keep us posted. It is definitely a cool car.

I will definitely be checking into that. I want to keep the inside original as well.. does anyone know if they repop sedan seat covers? I know they do the buckets for coupes and post cars...

Ya know Chris, that looks nice enough that I would leave it the way it is.
Could be a hell of a sleeper, though.
I think the rallye wheels are the way to go.
BTW, you're going to need more room for these.

I found that other hub cap if you still want it.

Really great after you find the vista I think you will need the convertible to fill out the garage.

Fun combination. And since your sticking with the 1965 models you'll soon be (if not already) a '65 guru

I know you can get original patter fabric from SMS. I imagine you could get seat covers as well.

Your neighbors are going to be confused. Some of them are going to see you driving the 4 door and be like "I swear that car was a 2 door yesterday."
