Throttle cable for 68 cutlass 350 4bbl

Throttle cable for 68 cutlass 350 4bbl

It appears that an aftermarket throttle cable is not made for the 68. All the ones I see have the larger hole that the grommet goes in for the carb. I even tried using the little retainer that goes on the gas pedal from a 1972 and my throttle cable end slips right through it. Had to put the chewed up one from my original gas pedal in when I switched to the TH350. Please tell me I am wrong and there is one out there....

Were did you buy it? Will it fit a 68 455 4 bar engine as well?l

Eric, I honestly don't know what that is (but I would like to know) I am looking for a complete throttle cable to fit a 68 442 w/455 4B carburetor.

I thought 1968 [only] had the stubby 1/4" peg that requires a narrow version of the rubber and plastic pcs pictured above.

Let's see the G-body item!
