I'm replacing the aftermarket radio in a '72 Cutlass. The one in there had a faceplate and I'm going with a Retrosound Model Two that doesn't require a faceplate. Looking at pics on the net, it looks like there was a chrome trim cup around the ***** but someone said that's actually the stock rear/back part of the stock radio *****. Is that true? The aftermarket ***** look kind of small/plane without the larger chrome trim.
