Does anyone know the fix for oil loss for the 3.4 litre V-6 motors? I know this was a defect in this motor and there may have been a recall on it. I bought the car new and it uses a quart between 800-1000 miles. If driven hard, it can be as low as 500 miles & it'll need a quart.

As mentioned, I bought this car new in late 1994. This has been an issue with this car since day 1, and since I use synthetic oil it's costly. Mine has the motor with 3 red spark plug wires in the front so it's a very early 1994.

Is there any leaks or is it just using oil?

No leaks, no smoke, no smell, it just goes away

Look into the coolant I replace lower intake gaskets at least once a week on this motor 3.1and 3.4 motors there pretty easy but usually this is where they leak

Magic . It's apparently burning it, but not enough to cause operating issues. I would try running plain ol dino oil and see what happens. I did a search on oil issues with your engine and turned up nothing.
