new here I just bought this 66

I just bought this 66 besides the wrong exterior color and new fender wells what else is a problem he has the original radio, valve covers, air cleaner, hub caps, protecto plate, key, and pictures of the tear down and repaint. The undercarriage looks decent no rust holes just normal surface rust. 10 bolt rear. I probably overpaid but what the heck. http://www.oldsmobileforum.com/forum...US_Cars_Trucks

Very nice! That is a Cutlass Sports Coupe (post coupes rule!), a more unusual model. So are you in NE Ohio?

Nice. That color is not too far off from 1966 Forest Mist. Drive and enjoy!

Why aren't you at the southern end of Cayuga Lake?

What do you collect? Some people do use their location in their screen name. Just two posts up from this one is "LI Olds," which I assume means Long Island Olds.

I collect old double barrel shotguns specifically NID's. But I may have to buy quite a few less now, the wife is already upset about this, I may have to sell it but I hope she gets over it.

Interesting. I'd never heard of Ithaca brand shotguns.

Did you go out and buy the car without your wife's knowledge or approval?

Picked the car up yesterday could not be happier he did have a ton of paperwork with the car the original POP is still glued in the book if you can read it backwards I will post pics it drove the 196 miles back to my house with no issues he had the original decal for the air cleaner as well as a new one an extra white wheel. He also had the original hard case for the keys and leather pouch. He also had a set of 442 wheels he let me have I am going to sell them on here I really do not know what they are worth. I could not be happier no rust no bubbling no dings no anything. There is a hole in the headliner. I am going to take it to Carroll Ohio for a car show on Friday. Here is a picture of the wheels.

I like the model 12's as well ,just because I lean towards the Ithaca's doesn't mean there is not room in the safe for other quality.
