New 2 board but not 2 OLDS

We bought our first Olds in about 1976. It was a 70 Cutlass Supreme 350 4speed. Our next was a 72 Supreme conv., then a 72 Supreme, a 65 442 conv., a 72 442, a 70 SX W32 conv., another 72 Supreme, a 71 SX conv., another 70 SX conv., another 72 Supreme with a blown 455, a 69 S. Right now, the only Olds we have is the 70 SX W32 conv.. Wish I stilll had a few of the other ones. I will always love the Olds, but especially the Cutlass'!

welcome

This is a great site to find out most answers to any question you may have about your OLDS. You need to make 5 posts in the newbie forum then you can post anywhere to get info . This helps to weed out spam.

It's been in the family for about 22 years. My brother was looking to buy a car for hobby and found this one. He asked me what I thought of it because I was getting into the Olds. I really didn't know anything then about the SX's, but knew it was a nice car! After some time went by, I told him if he wasn't going to buy it, I would. Of course he did. So, about 10 years ago he was talking about selling it, so I bought it from him. It had about 87,000 miles on it when I got it. I have since rebuilt the motor and re-painted and added a few things.
It was featured in the lower left corner of the Hurst/Olds poster.

Now I'm on the verge of bragging. Sorry!

Hey Chad,
You going to be at Jefferson this week-end? I'm going to be there Friday for sure, (have a Green 77 F100 Fareside with 17,000 original miles I'm trying to sell), but don't know about Sat & Sun? They are talking rain again! NO SUPRISE, HEY? That's Jeffersons swamp meet.
Look me up if your there. Be nice to meet ya and talk car stuff!

Oh, I'll be the the one with the silver dome. It's maturity!

Dale

My oldest is having a birthday party on Saturday, and church is every Sunday, but may try getting up there in the pm if possible. I used to live walking distance to the meet. I think it rained every time don't feel bad mine is getting shiny and I'm still in my 30's it all seems to be migrating south along with my arms and chest. I'll PM contact info if I can break free to go. Do you know off hand how much it costs to get in now a days? It's sad... I knew it was coming up, but did not know it was this weekend.

Chad;
It's $6.00 for a spector. Not bad at all.
