Looking for body bushings 67 cutlass.

As title says I'm looking for polyurethane body bushing with the bolts. Energy suspension doesn't have a listing. I see one kit in opgi catalog but not sure on their hardware kit, looks like the cheap bolts in the pic.
anyone ever use a kit for a chevelle/elCamino with sucess?
thanks.

I used a kit from OPGI and it was fine. I cleaned and reused the factory bolts. This kit does not come with the ones for the core support., They are different. The kit also does not come with the two that do not have bolts through them. I have many used bushings if you end up going that route.

Hope this helps

Larry, so you saying opgi kit is just missing the 4 bolts (2 rad 2 mid frame) but bushings and rest of hardware is there?

No, The OPGI kit does not include the two mid body bushings that do not have a hole in them and do not use a bolt, it also does not come with the radiator core support bushings and bolts.

I reused several of my old bolt as I have pulled many of these bodies and had some that were reusable.

You can just buy gr8 bolts for your kit.

There are separate bolt kits, not with gold cad bolts. GR8 bolts are gold cad, found at most fastener/bolt stores.

But then again, grade 5 bolts are more than strong enough for the body mount application. The sheet metal would rip out before the bolt would break.

The OP wants gold plated bolts, its not a matter of strength.

Oops. Sorry I posted. I'll try to be less offensive.

Body Bushings

Yes to get that look use grade 8 bolts. Overkill but they all have the colour you want..

Anyone notice that the retailers for body bushings usually get them wrong. I'm looking for correct bushings for my 68 Cutlass convertible. I have seen them at Fusics, OPGI and Golden Leaf and they are all wrong. The ones at Energy Suspension are correct but I don't want to go Urethane. There are 4 mount locations that are just a rubber bumper ( no bolt) but all the kits for coupe or convertible only contain 2 of those. I was wondering if I could use a standard mount but don't use the bolts or the rebound rubber.

There are 2 rubber bumpers (no bolts) below the rear seat location and 2 on the frame above the Diff. Hard to see. I think big block is supposed to have another set at the front for Chevelle but my original body service manual doesnt show anything different for big block for Olds. 68 - 72 different from 64 -67 however..
