1969 Cutlass S...trying to figure out how to get to the bulb on the rear view mirror light....repair manual says to just pull down on switch to expose the lamp. i've tried that,,and it wont come, and i feel like i'm gonna break it if i use any more force? anyone have any advice? thanks, Rick

 

You have to remove the lens, then gently squeeze the tabs on the front/rear of the insert to remove the assembly.
Be careful as that plastic gets brittle and can crack easily.
