how easy is it?

To give a 1997 cutlass supreme a tune up? and what would I need for a tune up. I have a general idea and just want to make 100% sure.

I would guess about the only thing you can do to tune that baby up is plugs, wires, and maybe a distributor cap and rotor unless that car is new enough to have seperate coils for each cylinder. You aren't going to be able to set idle, dwell, timing or anything on a car that new.

yeah it has coil packs so it will be not too bad.

plugs

If you buy original type plugs they will cost around $6 a piece because they are"100,000 mile" plugs. Not cheap to tune up a car these days even if you do it yourself. A new fuel filter every 10,000 mi. and a steady dose of a high quality fuel injector cleaner also is a good idea on todays fuel injected cars.
