Hey 70-72 Supreme owner's
I bought a supreme that has '71 front fenders, grills, '71 bumpers front and back. The cowl tag and the vin say's it's a '70. It was originally green but was repainted black. The paint on the inside of the fenders look like the original green color so i'm not sure if these parts might have been put on after it had a repaint or? thoughts?

The car is at a friends house awaiting a drive train transplant so i can't take pics but it does have an O type 12 bolt if that helps. The front seats are long gone but still has the back.

If the VIN and cowl tag says it's a 1970 model, then the entire front clip and rear bumper have been changed. The 1970 hood, grills, bumper, rad support will not allow 71 components to just bolt right up as mix and match. Only the fenders are compatible. So, you have a frankencar.
BTW, even though 1971 production started in July/August of 1970, The model years would never show VIN, nor the cowl tag information wrong. So your car has to be a 70 that someone has modified to suit their tastes. It might also have been in a front end wreck and parts replaced with what was available at the time?
Post some pictures of this car showing the front, rear, side and interior.
EDIT: Just saw the car has an O type rear. That's consistent with a 1970 model.
