Help please

New here and I will do a formal introduction shortly. I have the opportunity to purchase a good driver side door. It is from a 69 vert,
is this a good fit for a 68 Holiday coupe? I am not sure if there are any differences as I have not seen the door.

TIA.

Welcome to the site!

In the hardtop the 1968 has a wing window and the 1969 does not. But I don't know about convertibles of that vintage. Someone with a 1969 vert or knowledge of them will have to help out. John

Welcome Nilsson.

I always wondered...since you're Nilsson and if you don't mind an off-topic question,
Is it the lion or the lime in the coconut?
I would guess it would be pretty hard to get a lion in a coconut, probably wouldn't be very cooperative?..

John,
That is what has me wondering is the wing. I found this on craigslist and these are pictured with the wing.

Appreciate the reply.

Blue, it's lime in the coconut although Harry prefered something much stonger then lime in his.

And hello from a fellow Buckeye located in C-BUS.

This is a great site dedicated to an awesome automobile with a lot of knowledgeable people and some very colorful characters. I have been browsing this site for almost a year now and have picked up a vast amount of knowledge and the entertainment factor is priceless.

My son put my car on here sometime back as 442FAST in the photo gallery. So here I am and glad to be part of this Olds community.

BTW that is a wicked avatar you have.

Smile Doored

The outer skin on a '68 door is the same as the '69 however the inner structure is different because of the vent window and....in '69 they moved the inner door lock ahead about six inches as a theft deterrent...so the doors will interchange but you will have an issue with the inner door trim panel and the windows attach differently..totally..
