engine heat

I need some input on a slight annoyence. I get some engine heat seeping into the passenger cabin through the firewall. There are no obivious holes other than what should be there. I had a buddy in the passenger seat a few weeks ago and he commented on the heat. It's more noticable in the heat of the day (duh). It's a 72 convertible. The heater itself is not hooked up, so it's not that.

A freind had the same issue. After having the carb adjusted properly the problem ceased. Go figure.......but it worked!!!
