The difficulty for a first time classic car owner to remove vinyl top?
Hello I am trying to restore my 1970 cutlass S and I want to remove the vinyl top because I have a feeling it may have some rust under it and if not I really don’t care for them because the tops have been known to hold moisture that could cause rust. The person I bought it from said it was a new top but it looks like a cheap job! It looked like the person just covered the original top(I pulled some of it back near the rear window). How would I go about handling this problem(REMOVING)?
(For the books I am on a college student budget!!LOL)

Depending on how good or bad the adhesive is underneath, you might be able to use a putty knife to break the glue loose while you pull on the vinyl. I've got one that came off pretty easy. John
