defrost vent broken

i have the dash out in my 1980 olds cutlass calais to fix a bunch of electrical connectors and the defrost vent. the problem with the vent is it was broken at the mounting points . i got all the pieces and was wondering what kind of plastic is this and what can be used to glue it back together. i looked in all the wrecking yards and cannot find this part so i get to go redneck and glue the pieces together.

These type of plastics often contain oil in the composition where nothing really bonds to them in cement/epoxy products. Look into plastic welding. Harbor Freight offers a setup. I use a basic 30W solder pencil and have had good luck "welding" broken bits back into service. Experiment with test pieces. I got skilled fixing kid toys.
