Dash Radio Speaker Question?
Dash Radio Speaker Question?
My 71 Convert was missing the original under the dash center speaker and mounting bracket and harware.
-Does anyone have the bracket and hard ware they can part with?
I am using the factory am/fm radio and understand it needs to use a 10ohm speaker. All the speakers I have are 4ohm and 6ohm.
-Will they work? If not where can I get a 10ohm speaker and what size is the original one?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Steve,
I ended up purchasing the speaker from Turnswitch. Good call. Nice piece.
Big score. The only thing left in a shell of a 71 cutlass at the junk yard was the original under dash speaker and bracket and radio speaker plug.
New question. I didn't pay attention to how the speaker was up there. Its a rectangle with one side having 45 degree corners cut off. Does the 45 side go towards the firewall or away from it?
Good day at the junk yard.
