Compressor oil

Anyone know how much oil should go in a new compressor for a 1969 Cutlass? Been searching but can't find anything definite. Most say to check the sticker under the hood. Since that is long gone, I'm kinda at a loss. Guessing 8 oz. total. Anyone know for sure?
Thanks!

Page 1A-22 of the 1968 Oldsmobile Chassis Service Manual says:
If the oil drained from the old compressor was more than 1-1/2 oz., use the same amount
If the oil drained from the old compressor was less than 1-1/2 oz., put 6 oz.

For other components:
Evaporator: 3 oz.
Drier: 1 oz.
Condenser: 3 oz.

Thanks! Replacing the compressor and drier, may flush evap. and condenser also. System was converted to R134A last year and the compressor started squealing a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't remember how much was added at that time.
Thanks again!

Use PAG46 if it's converted to R134

Last night I emailed 4 Seasons, but thought it would be a few days before I heard back. They emailed me this morning and said 3 oz. are in the compressor from the factory, and to add 8 oz. of PAG 150 for a total of 11 oz. Guess I'll see how it works!
Thanks!
