Any thoughts/ideas why the top on my 95 Cutlass Supreme Convertible will not go back up? My wife thinks something hydraulic related, I am thinking electrical? Any ideas of what I can do before I take it in to get looked at?

Does it make any sound at all when you hit the switch?
I had both issues at different times in my 94. First the switch failed (someone spilled a drink on it). Nothing worked at this time. If you have nothing, I'd start tracing the electrical system.
Then the hydraulics leaked a bit (slow coming up) before the top of the driver's side cylinder broke off. When that happened, the passenger side wanted to push up, but the driver side wouldn't go.
