71 4dr Supreme seat resto

I have been in discussion with Legendary regarding my seats. They say they don't have the 4dr supreme rear seat kits. I thought all (with the possible exception of the convertible) rear seats were the same. Am I wrong?

In a word, yes. Four door rear seat cushions have rounded corners to make it easier to get in and out. 2-door body styles are squared off to meet the side panels.

You'll come out just as well to get a good trim shop to stitch you some new covers. No one makes them for four door cars- only for the "popular" bodystyles.

The 4dr Supreme has an entirely different seat pattern than the 2drs. which unfortunately makes repros unlikely due to limited market. According to the Olds upholstery book the seats came in all vinyl in black, blue and sienna and cloth in jade green. The green interior is made up of Eden and Prima cloth. I know of a person who obtained the correct green cloth material from SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon. Good luck.

I will second the vote for SMS Auto Fabrics as the source for the material. It's amazing what they have available. If you go to www.smsautofabrics.com and request it, they'll send you a small sample of the correct material.
