64' F-85 intake to hood clearence/correct alt.location

[1] -Has anyone replaced a stock 4 bbl. intake with a high rise Edlebrock Performer on the 330 engine. It is suppose to be 2" taller than Oem and if so was there adequate hood clearence. [2] - anyone know the correct location for the alternator on the 64' 330... There are 2 that I know of the midmount passenger side and the lower mount on the passenger side. My car came with a home made apparatus that the previous owner installed because he tried to put ac in a car that never had it.

I have a performer manifold and edelbrock carb in my 65..on a 455..
It will fit and you will have to get the lowest sitting air cleaner out there...

Note that 1964 has one-year-only accessory brackets. This is due to the driver's side water pump inlet and the fact that there was no big block in 1964. The water pump issue resulted in accessories being located differently than on later Olds motors.

Just so you can see, my '64 has the alternator mounted high on the driverside. It has A/C and PS, but not PB?(maybe someday)
