Hey Guys.
I have a '64 Cutlass Convertible. I am trying to stop the wind noise coming from the passenger side. I was inspecting the vent / wing window area and discovered a missing piece
I think It is called the vent window rubber bumper. (Service manual mentioned it but not directly) I took a picture of it where you can see it is missing, also a picture of the driver side where the (bumper?) is present. (see pics below)
I looked for what I think these are online and can only find them for '63-'64 Impala. They say these are not compatible (if it is even what I need) but I always thought Impala and cutlass had
compatible parts. Here is a link to the ones I found.

Anyone know if
A. This is what I need
B. The impala and cutlass are interchangeable, and if not
C. Where I might find this (only need for passenger side but will buy both if necessary.

Those come with the whole rubber strip which I don't think I need, but they have a phone number, I can try calling them in the morning and see what they say.

 

Impala will not work . It isa a B body, which is a bigger car.. A Cutlass is an A body. A lot of Malibu. Temoest,and Special weather stripping will work ,as they are A body cars.. I cant say for that particular part . Not all A body rubber works on all makes

 

RickRock, I believe the rubber bumper is part of the window fuzzy. It's not a separate item.
