68 Cutlass Convertible Driver Vent window

I am almost done with getting all the parts I need to finish my rebuild. One part I have not been able to find is the drivers door vent window and frame. It has to be from a convertible and NOT corroded or pot metal marks. They may look the same but the convertible vent window is a different part number than normal hard top.
Part number PT 9712547 LH
PLEASE let me know what you have and send pics.

Thanks, Howie

You're probably going to have to get one rechromed

If you get sick of trying to find a clean original one Don's East Coast Restorations sells rebuilt/rechromed ones. 1-800-736-2438.

He's probably going to want your old one as a core though (because he has them re-chromed at the place that I was quoted $375 for the pair)

Of course you could just do all that yourself too. I think he gets about $750 for a pair that are completely refurbished

i found one the first day, but they arent what you asked for..because i dont think theres any perfect ones left anymore...so i didnt respond.

i think in 2016, you'll have to replate one..its special..its one year..and 20 years ago they where pitted..ive had nice one but nothing perfect...and i just dont think they are out there anymore..its the castings..they just go away and pit.
