computer carb

Hi. If you are by-passing the computer, the carb will work just fine. You can always pull the cluster and remove the check engune bulb.(LOL) The computers in 87 just monitor, and record, not control. A diadnostic tool, if you will. Not like new cars. I have an 83 Grand lemans as my winter beater, paid $700.00 6 years ago, no computer, 3.8 still running strong. (See attach.)
Any more, just let us know. Jim.

You should go to some salvages and try to find a PRE 81 HEI distributor with a vaccum advance. It will run smoother and get better fuel economy.
