1966 Cutlass Vaccum Tank
1966 Cutlass Vaccum Tank
Anyone got one to sell or a vendor to get one from.
Hell I got like 5 vendors saved.
Also, good, reasonable vendor for paint, chassis black, cadmium gold, zinc silver? The only vendor I have used is Eastwood and they have gotten WAY high it seems.
Also, maybe fastners? I'd rather but nuts and bolts than bad/tag and send to a plater....

Check out your local platers. There was a fellow on another site that I'm on that gets his hardware done and it sounded rather cheap. All he did was to degrease the hardware and took it in. He ran around 25 pounds or so at a time. He was in TX also. If I can run across the name of the place again, I will post that.
Negative here is my road. Thanks for asking mrolds.
This going to be a driver...I am going to have to work, restore and repair in stages. I have done this before see..

So, I can either buy a load of various fastners and shims etc as I go OR just use the Eastwood plating paints and touch the **** up as I go. There is no way I can disassemble the car to have enough parts to take to a plater and keep on top of where I am. Savvy?
So I would like to just buy a dozen of this, a dozen of that, bag and tag the original parts to eventually have plated and keep, sell, pay forward whatever...that make sense?

See if there is an industrial plater on your side of town. I use Sentinial Plating in Garland but thats a long way from you. I spent about $300.00 on 5 boxes worth of mis parts in black and silver when I built my 66.
Really Eric...you have any details cause I don't LOL. No clue but Google is my friend.

Richard,
You did a cracking job on your '66 wow. Most inspired by you AND that car.
Thanks,
P.S. Where can I find a detail of what fasteners and what parts are painted/plated "X" color?
