Column shift car.
Does anybody know how the red gear indicator rod (wire?) undoes from the column? I've taken the small plate off and can see where a bracket is holding it, but I can't tell whether its welded, rivetted or maybe Allen head screw.

All I got is a Polaris ad !! How did you rate a girl in a red shirt? A while back the machine was showing me "guys looking for guys" ads. I was not amused, actually. Think my computer is confused !!
Guess I should be greatful for the Polaris ad.....
